About the Project

Dodge Flat II Solar is an energy project proposed for Washoe County, Nevada,  With a planned capacity of up to 200 megawatts of solar energy, combined with 200 megawatts of battery energy storage. More than just solar panels and batteries this project represents a significant investment in  Nevada’s future—creating good-paying jobs and generating millions of dollars in new revenue for the community, pending all necessary permits and approvals.

Dodge Flat II Solar is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, America’s largest builder of energy infrastructure. NextEra Energy Resources leverages all forms of energy across renewables, battery energy storage systems, natural gas, nuclear and other critical energy infrastructure. The company is advancing America’s energy future with the largest and most diverse portfolio of power generation and infrastructure solutions.
