Targeted to begin operations as early as December 2026, pending all required permits and approvals, the project will bring new jobs, investment and opportunity to the area.

With an expected lifespan of 30 years, the Dunns Bridge Solar II project will provide the Starke County with steady economic growth and long-term community benefits throughout the lifespan of the energy center. Development begins well before the project breaks ground.

The Dunns Bridge Solar II project is fully funded by Dunns Bridge Solar II, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC.
Because the project is privately funded, the tax revenue it generates represents new income for the community. Dunns Bridge Solar II will contribute additional tax dollars that local governments can invest where it’s needed most, helping to strengthen schools, improve roads, support first responders and enhance other vital community services.
