About the Project

Equinox Energy Center is an energy project proposed for San Bernardino County, California, with a planned capacity of up to 500 MW Solar and 500 MW BESS of energy. This project represents a significant investment in  California’s future—creating good-paying jobs and generating millions of dollars in new revenue for the community, pending all necessary permits and approvals.

Equinox Energy Center is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, America’s largest builder of energy infrastructure. NextEra Energy Resources leverages all forms of energy across renewables, battery energy storage systems, natural gas, nuclear and other critical energy infrastructure. The company is advancing America’s energy future with the largest and most diverse portfolio of power generation and infrastructure solutions.
