About the Project

The Dog Valley Energy Center project is an energy project proposed for Juab County, Utah, with a planned capacity to store up to 275 megawatts of energy. This project represents a significant investment in Utah's future - creating good-paying jobs and generating millions of dollars in new revenue for the community, pending all necessary permits and approvals. 

Dog Valley Energy Center is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, America’s largest builder of energy infrastructure.
NextEra Energy Resources leverages all forms of energy across renewables, battery energy storage systems, natural gas, nuclear and other critical energy infrastructure. The company is advancing America’s energy future with the largest and most diverse portfolio of power generation and infrastructure solutions.
