About the Project

The Flat Fork Energy Center project is an energy project proposed for St. Francis County, Arkansas, with a planned capacity to store up to 200 megawatts of energy. This project represents a significant investment in Arkansas's future - creating good-paying jobs and generating millions of dollars in new revenue for the community, pending all necessary permits and approvals. 

The Flat Fork Energy Center builds on the existing Flat Fork Solar project, adding new energy infrastructure within the same established project site.

Flat Fork Energy Center is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, America’s largest builder of energy infrastructure. NextEra Energy Resources leverages all forms of energy across renewables, battery energy storage systems, natural gas, nuclear and other critical energy infrastructure. The company is advancing America’s energy future with the largest and most diverse portfolio of power generation and infrastructure solutions.
