About the Project
Gypsum Wind is an energy project proposed for Woodward County, Oklahoma, with a planned capacity of up to 203 megawatts of energy. This project represents a significant investment in Oklahoma’s future—creating good-paying jobs and generating millions of dollars in new revenue for the community, pending all necessary permits and approvals.
Gypsum Wind is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, America’s largest builder of energy infrastructure. NextEra Energy Resources leverages all forms of energy across renewables, battery energy storage systems, natural gas, nuclear and other critical energy infrastructure.
