About the Project
Pigeon River Energy Center is an energy project proposed for Waupaca County, Wisconsin, with a planned capacity of up to 175 MW (megawatts) solar energy and 175 MW of storage capacity. This project represents a significant investment in Wisconsin’s future—creating good-paying jobs and generating millions of dollars in new revenue for the community, pending all necessary permits and approvals.
Pigeon River Energy Center is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, America’s largest builder of energy infrastructure.
