Tristan Wheeler

Tristan Wheeler has been with NextEra Energy for more than five years. As a Senior Project Developer for NextEra Energy Resources, he has focused on developing wind, battery storage, and solar projects. After spending many years working on projects in Indiana and Nebraska, Tristan relocated to Colorado to continue advancing renewable energy development.

One of Tristans favorite aspects of his role is building relationships and engaging with local communities. In addition to managing the technical components of project development, he is passionate about connecting with stakeholders, understanding community priorities, and helping ensure projects deliver long-term benefits. His ability to foster meaningful relationships with community leaders, residents, and other stakeholders has played an important role in the successful integration of renewable energy projects.
