With an expected lifespan of 30 years, the Spud Valley Energy Center project will provide the county with steady economic growth and long-term community benefits throughout the lifespan of the energy center. Development begins well before the project breaks ground.  

Spud Valley Energy Center serves as a catalyst for local economic growth, creating hundreds of construction jobs, supporting long-term employment opportunities and generating new revenue for the county through landowner payments and tax contributions.
